The house was adapted and opened as Casa Particular in 2005 and it was built in classic (Spanish) colonial style. It provides comfort, security and privacy for its visitors. All rooms are air conditioned and always clean. There are independent bathrooms (shower, wc) with fresh towels and soap for each room. Bathrooms have hot and cold water throughout the night and day. Price: 25 CUC/night per room

If you decide to eat before you go exploring around: Mrs. Miriam makes a delicious breakfast with coffee, milk, tea, fresh natural fruit juices, bread, butter, eggs, chips and salads, and additional plate with pieces of three or four tropical fruits. Breakfast: 4 CUC per person

After a hard day of sightseeing you can get a supper with many Cuban dishes: 8 CUC per person (order in the morning!)

The Casa is situated in the middle of Old Havana where the majority of the city's sightseeing is, so you can go around by foot, no car is necessary. Find it on the map of Havana.

Do not forget to talk to the master of the house, Mr. Sergio, who will cheerfully explain where to go and what to see. Also ask about the best restaurants and bars that the locals recommend. You can get some of his tips here.

Casa Particular de Sergio and Miriam is authorized by the state of the Republic of Cuba and has a valid license to operate. When looking for accomodation be careful to choose a house with this sign because it is the only legal type of tourist accomodation available.
